This is actually pretty old, but I’ve only recently heard about it: Zplane have a plugin that does realtime pitch shifting via their élastique pro algorithm, as used by ableton live and traktor (amongst others). The advantage here is that you get automation and midi control, making it ideal for creative sound design! A bit pricy at $199 USD, but very likely worth it. AudioNewsRoom have a review
